Everything available at over 100 Habitat ReStores across Canada has been donated by members of the communities, local businesses or large corporations. Whether you're planning to clean out your garage or need a solution for overstock product, our ReStores can help.

Drop Off - Donations may be dropped off during business hours. While the Corner Brook project is in it's infancy, the following process must be followed:

  • Drop off donations are by appointment only. Please contact us with the items you wish to donate along with pictures. You can contact us by email at restorecb@habitatnl.ca, or by phone at 709-770-1900.

  • Our team will review the eligibility of your donation. If approved, we'll schedule a drop off time.

  • The location of the donation center will be disclosed once the donation is deemed acceptable.

  • DO NOT DROP OFF OUTSIDE OF BUSINESS HOURS. This is considered dumping and it will be reported based on video surveillance.

Pick Up - We do not offer a pick up service at our Corner Brook location at this time.

corporate donations

Being a corporate donor is easy, green and good for your bottom line. Donations of your dead stock, discontinued items, return to vendor products etc, will help more families become Habitat homeowners – building strength, stability and independence through affordable home ownership. Your donations are eligible for charitable tax receipts so you can recoup some of those lost profits on the back end. Find out more about how your business can get involved with us. what we accept

We accept new and gently used home goods and building supplies. All donations must be in usable and working order. Some items we accept are:

  • Furniture, housewares and decor
  • Counter top appliances (toasters, microwaves, etc)
  • Select electronics (TV's, stereo equipment etc)
  • Cabinetry 
  • Kitchen and bath fixtures
  • Building materials (paint, plumbing, electrical, lumber, hardware etc)
  • Flooring
  • Lamps
  • Tools
  • Doors and Windows
  • Outdoor equipment

We DO NOT accept the following:

  • Used mattresses or box springs
  • Fridges, stoves, or washers and dryers
  • Old style TV's
  • Books and movies
  • Clothing
  • Unframed glass
  • Drapery
  • Items with excessive wear, odour or damage
